Created by Alexandre Fato, the wall chiselling and plastering is a different type of street art – rather than adding to the walls, he subtracted. He produced an intriguing portrait with the use of the colours and texture of the wall’s underlying material, as well as with overlays of plaster.

The wall chiselling in Leake Street, created during the Cans II Festival is widely considered the most impressive work of the Canes Festival.
