Completed in 2008 and located in a high-rise business district of La Défense, the 185-metre-high Tour T1 is the fourth tallest building in France. It is distinguished by its unique shape, in a form of a sheet folded in half. Interestingly, on 7 April 2010 the building was climbed with bare hands by the famous climber, Alain Robert.
Since 2010 the building has been leased by GDF SUEZ – the second largest global energy group. It is occupied by offices, which cover the area of 70 000 square metres.
