Boulevard Poissonnière stretches between Boulevard Montmartre and Boulevard de Bonne Nouvelle. It was created to replace the Louis XIII wall. The boulevard was named after the fishmongers, who used to stop there with their wagons. Today it’s filled with cinemas, music venues, restaurants and boutiques.
