General Information

The theatre was designed in the 19th century by baron Haussmann, at Place du Châtelet. Since 1970s the institution has produced numerous dance shows that are considered as real international achievements in the field of contemporary dance. The theatre is also known for revealing and promoting many famous, prominent choreographs.
