Szimpla Kert is the most popular ruin pub in Budapest, though being popular doesn’t mean the place lacks the bohemian style of this kind of bars. What makes it unique among others, is the open-air movie theatre where you can watch some art movies or less known documentaries. The décor is of course far from being elegant, but with the rooms full of lumber, Szimpla looks amazing in its way.
