General Information

This bridge links Place Saint-Michel to the Île de la Cité. Constructed in 1378, it has been rebuilt several times. The present 62-metre-long and 30-metre-wide bridge dates to 1857. It was the site of many of the killings of the Paris massacre of 1961. The bridge is located near Saint-Michel metro station.
