General Information

This historic restaurant was originally founded in 1845 and its interior hasn’t changed much for over 100 years. The style of cooking hasn’t changed either and remains that of the late 19th century. Most diners sit at long, shared tables and the bathroom, unchanged for decades, has been described as ‘legendary’.
