General Information

The Musée Cernuschi is an art museum specialising in Asian objects of artistic and archaeological value, particularly works from China, Japan and Korea. It was founded in 1898 by banker Henri Cernuschi and is located in his former home. The collection housed in the museum contains around 12,500 items, 900 of which are on permanent display.
