Musée Carnavalet-Histoire de Paris documents the history of Paris from Roman times to date. The museum is located in two neighbouring Renaissance mansions: the Hôtel Carnavalet and the Hôtel Le Peletier de Saint Fargeau. The vast collection contains artistic depictions of people as well as important events and countless objects of historical value.
