General Information

Galerie Colbert is one of Paris’s covered commercial passages. It was opened in 1826 and named after the former Hotel Colbert, previously Bautru hotel. Nowadays it houses l’Institut national d’histoire de l’art et l’Institut national du patrimoine (National Institute of History of Art and the National Heritage Institute).
