Budakeszi Vadaspark is a large protected forest in the Buda hills, located just 10 kilometres from the city centre. It’s an out-of-town alternative to the zoo, with wild animals (such as brown bears, deer, foxes, rabbits, wild boars, wolfs) and farm animals (goats, donkeys, ducks, sheep) native to Europe and Hungary. There is also a petting zoo, a lookout, a play area and several tracks ideal for hiking.
The animals of the Budakeszi Vadaspark include such species as brown bear, gray wolf, fox, raccoon, boar, deer, rabbit, donkey, goat, sheep, duck, geese or squirrel, among others.
