University of Paris 13 (UP13) is a multidisciplinary establishment with five main fields of study: human and social sciences; science, technologies, health, culture and communication; law, economics, management, arts, literature and languages. It is composed of 9 departments located within 4 campuses and offering over 200 national diplomas.

University of Paris 13 is one of the thirteen universities in Paris that replaced the University of Paris in 1970. It is also known as University of Paris North. Today, the university has over 22,000 students involved in initial or continuing professional education courses. It is also a major teaching and research hub in the north of Paris.
