The Théâtre du Soleil is a reaction against traditional theatrical institutions. Since its creation, it’s been characterised by a commitment to long-term collaborative rehearsal processes, as well as merging a wide variety of Western and non-Western art forms. Its shows include both original works and re-imaginings of classics of Western theatre.
