The engravings in the Wall of Names list the names of 76,000 Jews, including 11,000 children, who were deported from France as part of the Nazi plan to eradicate Jews from the face of the Earth. Between 1942 and 1944, the deported were directed to death camps in Auschwitz-Birkenau, Sobibor, Majdanek and other places. The list is not yet complete.
